On behalf of our client, an international agro business company, we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional to fill in the following position: Account Receivable Clerk.
Administering month-end procedures on Accounts Receivables.
Liaising with Business Units to manage overdue receipts.
Creating and producing accounts receivables reports.
Identifying problem areas in the process and generating solutions.
Participating in transferring accounting activities from countries to the SSC (project phase).
Receiving and posting customer remittances to customer accounts.
Investigating overpayments and underpayments.
Reviewing age of receivables and specific account balances.
Implementing actions to re-bill customers or forwarding for follow-up.
Processing accounts receivables adjustments for errors or omissions, including credits and debits.
Resolving unapplied and unidentified receipts on a daily basis.
Maintaining a clean ledger with minimal aged open transactions.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
Basic experience in accounting, ideally gained in a corporate environment or bookkeeping agency.
Previous exposure to a Shared Services Center environment is a plus.
High School diploma required; a university degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong sense of professionalism, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service-oriented, with experience in telephone-based support considered an advantage.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and prioritizing customer needs.
Positive, enthusiastic team player with a collaborative mindset.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Language Requirements
Fluent in English (B2–C1 level) is mandatory.
Knowledge of one or more of the following languages is an asset: Czech, Polish, German, Romanian, Bulgarian.
